Glowplugs And No Brake Lights.

Hi All, today while driving the glowplug light has started flashing at the same time the bulb failiure light also came on. I now have no brake lights, bulbs have been checked as they were renewed

for the mot only two weeks ago. I have been reading a few of the threads on the forum and this seems a common thing to have happen. What I need to know is whats actually wrong for this to happen.

Do I need new glowplugs and a new brake switch or one or the other????Someone anyone please help...

Looks like the brake light switch at the top of the brake pedal has failed ,easy enough to change it

mine did same replaced stop light switch jobs .a goodun

Hi swifty- in the last 6 years of owning our galaxy the brake switch has gone twicw- which can be found on top of the brake pedal.

The switch costs very little, the fact the glow plug light is flashing (indicates fault recorded) Ford will charge a fortune (

Hi Thanks for all your replies since posting the topic Ive had no more glowplug warnings and the brake lights have also been fine!!!!!! Very weird.
